probably talking into the void here but please keep playing bruce there's definitely a new and WAY better version of EDF in there its just kinda SO EDF its hard to notice at first, i.e. there are TONS of levels and it changes over time. also without spoiling the gimmick of 6 is kinda unfortunately leading to people thinking its a "rehash" but its not the setup of the story just sorta uses that as a red herring. unfortunately EDF is such a great series but EDF6 is not a move *towards* accessibility for new players, that's for sure.

keep going, Enemies are also introduced earlier than 5 and many more things will follow and notice some details!

Its interesting how many games take a base element idea, in this case tower defense, and build a game around it with different base keeping elements. Like Kunitsu-Gami is a tower defense base build-ish type of game. I wonder what other games are out there.
